About
Rainbow is a stunning, spacious waterfront villa situated in a delightful, quiet location in the heart of Marco Island, the largest of the Ten Thousand Islands chain and affectionately known as ‘The Last Paradise’. Our home is built on a Floridian theme with pastel colours, light and tropical for a sense of easy living, air conditioned with ceiling fans and sumptuous furnishings with upgrades rarely found in a rental property including 6 TV’s, integral CD/radio system in every room and WiFi. Local shops, restaurants and beaches are all within easy reach.
Rainbow has a magnificently appointed kitchen with dining areas both inside and out, the latter accessed via full width sliding glass doors leading out onto the screened lanai area complete with large heated plunge pool, gas barbecue, dining table and chairs and sun loungers. The outside pool area looks straight down one of the long waterways which lead out into the Gulf and for which Marco is uniquely famous. It receives the sun all day for those who just want to laze around or go fishing on the private boat dock at the end of the garden.
Rainbow has 5 double bedrooms – one master king bed, one master queen bed, one further double and two twin bedded rooms. The masters are both en suite and two further bathrooms service the other bedrooms. It is ideal for a two family holiday with the two main bedrooms leading off the lounge, and the other three off a corridor leading from the kitchen.
Marco Island, although quieter than Naples, has a charm of its own and everything you could wish for – beautiful sandy beaches, boat hire, deep sea and local fishing trips, water skiing and parasailing. Restaurants, tiki bars and a huge choice of shops are in abundance. It also has the famous Stan’s Idle Bar in nearby Goodlands where Sunday afternoons have to be experienced if not believed! If you want to sample the more hectic lifestyle, Naples is only 20 minutes away in a car with its designer shops and restaurants and famous zoo. Alternatively take a day trip to Key West on the jet ferry or visit the other fascinating and beautiful areas on the Gulf coast such as Sarasota or Captive Island.
Marco Island deservedly has the nickname of ‘The Last Paradise’ and this is borne out by the number of repeat renters we have every year.
